A note from Liv

I know what it’s like to doubt yourself.

In my last year of high school, I dropped Grade 12 Advanced Functions. I wasn’t sure I was cut out for math. A teacher who believed in me helped me find my way back — first through a bridge course, then into the Mathematics program at McMaster.

I went on to take challenging courses like real analysis, multivariable calculus and linear algebra. That experience still shapes how I teach: with patience, encouragement and the belief that a tough subject can become a little less intimidating with the right support.

Part tutor, part cheerleader.
I’m here to help you learn how to think, ask good questions and become a more independent learner.
